Common questions
Do I need to book?
No. You can simply walk in during opening hours; bookings aren't required for casual climbing.
Do I need any experience?
Absolutely not! Bouldering is one of the most accessible forms of climbing. Our walls have problems for complete beginners through to advanced climbers.
What's the difference between bouldering and rock climbing?
Bouldering is climbing without ropes on shorter walls (typically 3–4.5m) with thick crash mats below. No harness or belay partner needed — just you and the wall.
Is it safe?
Yes! Our matting is designed and manufactured by industry leaders to Australian and international standards. Our staff are trained in safety, and we'll brief you on proper falling technique when you arrive.
Can I come alone?
Of course! Many of our climbers come solo. It's a great way to meet people — the bouldering community is incredibly welcoming.
How old do you have to be?
We welcome climbers of all ages. Kids under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Check out our Youth Programs for dedicated kids' sessions.
